Neighbourhood Opens Its Doors

Situated on the site of the old Street Cafe at 101 St James Street is NEIGHBOURHOOD

The opening of this new bar comes at an important time in Brighton as the city slowly meanders it's way through the recession in the face of ever growing mainstream high street brands slowly eating up the cities more left of centre commercial industries

Having walked past the build leading up to the opening of Neighbourhood nearly every day over the past few weeks it was with pleasure to see that this new space retains the individuality that Brighton was very much known for not so long ago

Offering 3 separate spaces including a cafe area, bar area and most interestingly an outside space already being eyed up for late night film shows and (a special party ;) from some familiar faces Neighbourhood looks set to add a little spice to goings on down on St James Street

Here's the full low down on Neighbourhood

NEIGHBOURHOOD FACEBOOK GROUP

KITCHEN+SALOON
A neighbourhood bar, with a vintage industrial feel tipping it's hat to brooklyn dive bars and East London hang-outs.

The bar interior will be a collection of objet d'art, industrial covering's and worn antiquities, steel, rust, wood, worn, industrial, deconstructed.

A NEIGHBOURHOOD hangout spread over 2 floors with 100 ft garden,
that will be keeping away from the chain pub brand products
that have taken over Brighton.

Bringing back a bit of the individual and independence that is slowly disappearing from our city and neighbourhood's from the bar decor to the drink offerings.....

There will be 2 menu's brunch and as night falls:

Brunch will be breakfast classics and tasty lunches.

The evening menu will lean towards Americana classics with great burgers being the centre piece of a varied menu.

We will be offering a great kids menu and lots of light bites!

The light bites are to enjoy alongside your long cold drinks,
when you don't fancy a full fill up...

The drinks selection will be based around the world's best lagers and beers,
no mainstream brands here.

A concise and quality spirits menu.
A large wine list again steering away from the obvious choices.
Long cool classic cocktails.
Drafts will again be high end beers and ciders
that you don't get everywhere else!!

All at prices that don't hurt the pocket.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the NEIGHBOURHOOD
