This will be the second year that Beachdown Festival takes over the South Downs just outside of Brighton.

Disco, house, broken beat, dance floor jazz, soul, funk, reggae and all manner of groove based dance music for four days up on the downs.

The initial line up details have been released and things are already looking fairly tidy. Expect many more names to be added with some very special announcements believed to be coming soon.

About Beachdown Festival:

Set in the beautiful designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty site of the South Downs just north of Brighton – Beachdown offers comfortable, secure camping including a quiet family camping area and a guarantee of having the driest underfoot site of anywhere in the UK due to the chalk base of the South Downs – rainwater simply seeps straight away. So sorry – no mud-baths here.

performing on 4 stages we offer a total of 42 hours of entertainment across the August Bank Holiday weekend.

In addition we offer Award-winning cuisine from our selection of local food partners including Pintxo People, Due South and Indian Summer. All food supplied at Beachdown is sourced from Brighton and the surrounding areas to fully involve local businesses, to stimulate the local economy and to give individual businesses the chance to get involved in what we want to be their event as much as ours.
