Disco Each And Every Saturday In Brighton This Summer

After three years of various one offs, basement parties and secret seaside sessions, Brighton now sees it’s first regular Saturday night disco party taking place.

Not just a night time affair, each Saturday session starts at 5.30pm on the terrace outside LIFE and then continues from 11pm next door at The Funky Buddha.

This now all means we get both outdoor and indoor Saturday disco heat on a regular weekly basis for the very first time in Brighton since god only knows when.

The event is run by Neal and Sam from Maxxi Sound System with Senor Mick, Johnny Rocks and ahem, us on rotation each month.

Expect all forms of disco from the residents who will be blurring the cosmic, loft, garage, italo, boogie and up to date boundaries of the genre on a weekly basis.

We played at The Funky Buddha recently with these guys and can’t speak highly enough about the venue, sound system, lighting, clientele and music policy on offer now.

Guests already early on this summer include

Pete Herbert (Superdiscoteca/LSB)
Stu Clark and Matt Neal (Wolf Music)
AD Cox (Bad Passion Project/Tonka)
Sophie Lloyd (Non Stop Recordings)

You can also catch Maxxi Sound System performing at The Garden Festival in Croatia later this summer if you're headed out to Zadar for the festival.

See you there for an ice cream and a pint.
